Evan Christopher Roe (born February 9, 2000) is an American television and film actor best known for his role as Jason McCord on the CBS political drama television series Madam Secretary.
Born in Seattle, Roe moved at the age of four to San Marcos, California, where he began performing in children’s musical theater at a young age. During his youth he also performed in regional musical productions such as Oliver! and Big River (musical) before starting television work at the age of 12. As a child actor, Roe made guest appearances on shows such as Disney Channel’s Jessie, Fox Television’s Saint George and Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat and Bella and the Bulldogs.
In 2018, Roe was cast in Tayarisha Poe’s directorial debut Selah and the Spades. The film subsequently premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
