Thomas Fee Wiki – Thomas Fee Biography
Thomas Fee is a former New York City firefighter from Freeport, Long Island. He is facing charges for storming the U.S. Capitol. Fee texted a photo of himself surrounded by rioters inside the US Capitol during its Jan. 6 occupation by supporters of outgoing President Trump and claimed he was at the “tip of the spear,” according to federal authorities.
Fee is a 22-year retired veteran of ‘New York’s Bravest’. He retired from his job in October, an FDNY spokesman said on Monday. Fee made $$125,794 last year, as state payroll records show.
In 2004, Fee was suspended as a volunteer firefighter in Hempstead, Long Island, over allegations he repeatedly shouted racial slurs at a black doctor.
Thomas Fee Age
Thomas Fee is 53 years old.
Capitol Riot
Fee sent a selfie to a friend from inside the building’s famed rotunda, the Daily News has learned. Friends first heard Fee might be at the capital when one person saw a message on Fee’s girlfriend’s Facebook page saying he was at the Washington D.C. rally, the complaint says.
The person texted Fee to find out if he was actually there and Fee said yes and he sent the person the selfie as further proof.
Authorities later compared the photograph to Fee’s driver’s license picture and concluded it was a match, the complaint says.
Thomas Fee Arrest
Fee has not yet been arrested but he is being sought for arrest, a law enforcement source briefed on the matter said Monday.
Charges
Fee was charged Saturday with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds and knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, according to a criminal complaint filed in Washington, DC. It was unclear Monday if that firefighter is the same one charged in the Capitol riot.
The charges come after two New York City firefighters one retired, one active were spotted outside of the U.S. Capitol earlier this month, and days after Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro issued a department-wide memo urging all firefighters, active and retired, to “act with the utmost discretion and respect for others.”
